I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress and overwhelm, relationship or family difficulties, parenting challenges, grief and loss, and the impact of difficult or traumatic experiences.Counselling can also be helpful when you’re feeling stuck, noticing patterns you want to understand or change, or simply needing some space to think through what is happening in your life.You don’t need to have a diagnosis or be in crisis to come to counselling.

How often will I need to attend counselling?

This depends on what you are coming to counselling for and what works for you. Some people attend weekly or fortnightly, while others find less frequent sessions more useful.Initially it's helpful to schedule consistent sessions to build momentum and the therapeutic relationship, with sessions often stretching out once you are feeling a bit better and can see progress.We can discuss this together and review it as we go rather than deciding on a set number of sessions from the beginning.
